The Corner Room 100th Anniversary Block Party

Celebrate 100 years of The Corner Room at a free community block party on Allen Street in downtown State College on Friday, July 3. The afternoon begins at 3 p.m. with family-friendly activities including a carousel, face painting, balloon twisting, arts and crafts, and hands-on experiences. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment, food, drinks, and the festive atmosphere of a summer celebration in the heart of downtown.

At 6 p.m., the event transforms into a community birthday party honoring a century of memories at The Corner Room. The celebration will feature a performance by the Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus, birthday cake, music, and opportunities to reflect on the restaurant's lasting role in the community. Throughout the event, donations will be collected to support Alpha Fire Company, recognizing its longstanding service to the State College community.
