From July 8, 2026, through July 12, 2026, the arts, creative activities, and fun for the entire family will be celebrated in a big way from historic Boalsburg to downtown State College to rural Port Matilda. Three unique festivals – Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, People’s Choice Festival and Way Fruit Farm Art in the Orchard – are all happening at the same time, offering a fun, immersive experience into art, crafts, delicious food, live music and much more.
Among Happy Valley’s most anticipated summer events for 60 years! One of the nation’s top-ranked juried arts fairs, Arts Fest buzzes with a lively mix of art, music, performances, and creative activities, starting with Children and Youth Day on July 8.

In its 32nd year, People’s Choice Festival features the work of Pennsylvania artists. Just a few miles from downtown State College, the huge circle of artists takes attendees from jeweler to painter, sculptor to photographers, caricaturist to potter. Artists are selected for quality work and affordability.
