The Woodward Cave tour was a HUGE hit last year! Many commented that it’s more informative, exciting and interesting than…let’s just say…other local cave tours. Sponsoring again this year, they’re planning a PV Sports Day event where the best of the valley will be featured – disc golf, fly fishing and more. We’ll meet at Woodward Cave for a tour before a leisurely Creekside ride from Woodward Cave to Spring Mills and back (at your own pace and as far as you want to go) , followed by their sports event. Woodward Cave is one of Pennsylvania’s largest caverns and home to PA’s largest stalagmite. Over a thousand bats hibernate in the cave (don’t worry, they’re not there in the summer!) ? You’ll hear tails of the cave along with tons of facts about the formations you’ll see along the tour. Details:Park/Meet at Woodward Cave – 147 Woodward Cave Drive, Woodward PA 16882Fee – Discounted tickets will be on sale for the cave tour this summer. You are welcome to bring friends/family. There is a max 25 people per tour. Schedule:TBD – Cave Tour…Tour time is TBD, but will likely be around 10-10:30AM. Additional tour times will be added if there is growing interest. Go to Woodward Cave on your own any time from Memorial Day to Labor Day (closed the rest of the year for bat conservation initiatives) , or make it a destination when friends/family visit.
