Happening at the same time as the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, People's Choice is a nice event looking to decorate their home for an affordable price. With nearly 200 artists on hand you'll be sure to find pieces of art that will call out to you. Our host and neighbors charge a modest parking fee. Festival times are 10 AM - 8 PM Thursday to Saturday and Noon - 5 PM on Sunday.

The festival is a showcase for Pennsylvania based artists ranging from fine art to woodwork and more. After going through all of those booths you'll probably get a little rumble in your stomach calling out for a meal. In addition to the wonderful restaurants based in Boalsburg, such as Duffy's Tavern, there are 20+ food booths on hand on the fairgrounds. Take a load off and enjoy a seat in the shaded dining tents to enjoy your meal.

Make sure to bring some comfortable shoes, because the fairgrounds are quite an expansive plot of land at the Pennsylvania Military Museum. Also, they will come in handy when you're dancing to one of the dozens of entertainment groups throughout the four-day festival.

The grounds also offer wide-open play areas for kids. They will also have the opportunity to participate in crafts, games, a petting zoo, face-painting and more. While you pick out the next pieces for your home the kids will be having a blast.

It is wise to plan your schedule out for when you want to visit the festival in advance. The festival's official schedule is a great place to start that process. There is just about any genre of music that you can imagine displayed at the event. There are few things better than enjoying some of the great food on the grounds, with music playing in the background while you contemplate if that beautiful piece of art you just passed would look like in your living room.
