Penn's Woods Music Festival - Day 1

The Penn’s Woods Music Festival heats up the summer with performances that will ignite your wonderment and fulfill your passion for live professional orchestral, jazz and chamber music!  Every concert is packed with familiar and new to the festival repertoire. The PWMF musicians are first-rate and are anxious to play for you.

The festival kicks off with a mesmerizing outdoor performance by the PWMF Wind Symphony at the picturesque Arboretum at Penn State. Dr. Tonya Mitchell-Spradlin will debut this new addition to the festival with American Band classics. The concert-goers might be asked to sing and whistle along! Admission and parking are free, offering a delightful evening for families and friends to enjoy. Arrive early to explore the Arboretum with musicians planted around the gardens.
