The Big Spring Festival takes place on the third weekend in May and celebrates our bountiful supply of water with entertainment, water sports, crafts, fish stocking of Spring Creek and more.

Activities including kayaking (weather permitting), live music, food vendors, children's activities and of course the stocking of fish to Spring Creek. 

The event is small, but is a nice relaxing day to celebrate nature and the historic town of Bellefonte. Picturesque Talleyrand Park is an excellent location for a picnic and photos. Shops, restaurants and a beautiful downtown are just a few steps away from the festival grounds.
