    A Walk to Remember Our Fallen Join us as we come together to honor and remember those who gave their lives in defense of our country. Walk, bike, push a stroller, pull a wagon, or bring a chair and take part by listening and reflecting. Together, we’ll share stories and say their names—because keeping their memory alive honors their sacrifice. All ages and abilities are welcome! Schedule of Events Friday, May 22nd • 5:00 PM - T-shirt pickup at the PA Military Museum grounds Saturday, May 23rd 9:00 AM – Opening ceremony • Color Guard presented by Boy Scout Troop 380 and sister Troop 328 • Pledge of Allegiance 9:05 AM – National Anthem and opening prayer • Led by Pastor Paul McReynolds 9:10 AM – Welcome remarks • Recognition of Gold Star families and special guests 9:15 AM – Keynote Address: Debra Burger • Debra will share her experience as a fifth grader when her oldest brother went missing in 1968 after being shot down during a reconnaissance mission flying an O-2 aircraft. She will also provide an update on her family’s lifelong search for the remains of Lewis P. Smith II. 9:30 AM – Walk of Celebration begins • 6 laps around the museum grounds (5K) • Write a “note from home” • Create a poppy flower • Sign the Remembrance Board 9:50–10:20 AM – Patriotic music • Performed by the Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus 10:30 AM – Closing tribute • TAPS performed by high school student Hannah Majewski • 21-gun salute by the Bellefonte VFW 9:00–10:30 AM – Veteran organizations on site • Available throughout the morning to provide guidance and support We invite you to walk with us, remember with us, and honor those who gave everything for our freedom
