About the Boalsburg Heritage Museum
The Boalsburg Heritage Museum strives to be a vibrant social and cultural centerpiece of the village of Boalsburg and the surrounding area. The Museum was established with a gift from Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Aikens in 1983, with the purpose of preserving historical artifacts from Boalsburg and Harris Township for educators, students, historians, and those interested in local history. Through exhibits, tours, and events, the Museum promotes awareness and understanding of this area's rich heritage for community members and visitors. When you come to visit, you will be able to tour the house built in 1825, the Summer Kitchen, the Light House and the Barn full of historic wagons and carriages. We welcome visitors every Saturday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 or contact us for a special tour at boalsburgheritagemuseum@gmail.com.
