Exclusive Referral Service
Only members are referred and receive benefits of membership. The HVAB recommends member services and products to visitors, meeting and convention planners, sports event attendees, motorcoach groups, new residents and other bureau members.
Website
HVAB members receive a free listing on our website. In addition, should you have an existing website-the HVAB will link your site provided you have a reciprocal link to the HVAB on your site.
Brochure Distribution
Have your brochures distributed at the State College Visitor Center and Bellefonte Train Station visitor information center! Due to the typical volume of travelers to the visitor centers, the need for your brochures is in great demand! This is a free advertising opportunity. Brochures are accepted year round.
National and International Advertising
The HVAB receives thousands of requests for information each year. Make sure you are included in the referral program by becoming a HVAB Member today!
Sales and Service
On-going solicitation of meetings, conventions, sporting events and group tours is provided. Once a group is booked, the sales manager provides member resources and services to the planner.
Travel and Trade Shows
The HVAB Team represents the membership at Meeting & Convention Trade Shows; Media & PR Trade Shows, Motor-coach and Group Tour Trade Shows as well as Leisure Travel Shows.
Marketing
The HVAB implements a comprehensive marketing program designed to maximize the Happy Valley brand awareness and visitation to Centre County. The program includes National and International local advertising campaigns, on-line campaigns, social networking, newsletters, promotional guides as well as PR and media relations.
State and Regional Representation
The HVAB works closely with the PA Tourism Office and Regional and County Organizations on a variety of promotional endeavors to stretch our marketing dollars, and serves as a liaison with government.
