Join us for a winter day of outdoor fun at Black Moshannon State Park! Participate in activities like ice mini golf, bowling on the lake, curling, ice skating, broom ball, building sculptures, sled riding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Equipment will be available to borrow, weather permitting, and participants should meet at the warming hut by the boat rental. Special programs include a "Make Fake Snow" session from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, a "Signs of Winter Wildlife" hike from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, and a "Weeds of Winter" hike from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm, all meeting at the Environmental Learning Center. Please note that programs are subject to change based on winter conditions, and liability forms must be signed by an adult for loaner equipment. For updates, cancellations, or any additional programs, contact the park office at 814-342-5960, email blackmoshannonee@pa.gov, or check the Black Moshannon State Park Facebook page. If there is insufficient snow and ice, the event will be rescheduled for February 10, with potential additional programs on that day. Enjoy a wonderful winter experience!
