Join us for the Black Moshannon "Spider Scare-n-Share" at Black Moshannon State Park, where you can enjoy a variety of Halloween and nature-themed activities! The event kicks off with Halloween games from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm at the pebble pavilion in the Lower Campground. At 1:00 pm, dive into the fascinating world of spiders and create your own spider craft. After a brief costume change break from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm, families can participate in the Annual Halloween Parade from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, starting at the Campground Host Site. Don't forget to bring buckets for treats and wear comfortable costumes (no political, religious, or potentially offensive themes, please). The festivities conclude with a Costume Contest from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm, where participants will be recognized in three categories: Overall Best Costume, Best Nature-Related Costume, and Scariest Costume. Join us for a spooky and fun-filled day!
