- Established: Reestablished in 1978 as the successor to the State College Borough’s Airport Authority.
- Primary Role: Oversees the University Park Airport terminal operations, including commercial airline services, parking, and terminal facilities.

- Composed of up to 9 members, appointed by various municipalities including Centre County, State College Borough, Bellefonte Borough, Patton Township, and Benner Township.

- James “Jim” Meyer, longtime Executive Director (1997–2025), led major upgrades including terminal remodeling, new parking facilities, and improved baggage handling.
