The Bellefonte Fall Festival and Halloween Parade is held each October and features free special children's activities like creating your own scarecrow, carving pumpkins, telling ghost stories, music, food and more. 

The Halloween Parade travels throughout town and ends up in Talleyrand Park where participants will be judged on various category, including best dressed pet. Participating businesses with jack-o-lanterns in their windows will be handing out trick-or-treat candy as well.
