June 13- 19 Happy Valley Culinary Week
Happy Valley Culinary Week is a seven-day celebration of the art of cooking, local foods and the chefs who prepare them. Events and demonstrations will be scheduled throughout the week; Culinary Week menus will be featured at participating restaurants.
July 12- 17 Philipsburg Heritage Days
Philipsburg Heritage Days is an annual celebration promoting historic downtown Philipsburg providing entertainment, craft and food vendors.
This year’s theme: Salute To Those Who Protect & Serve.
July 14-17 People’s Choice Festival
This is the 23rd year for the People’s Choice Festival of Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts. We’re well-known as the family-friendly arts festival where entertainment is free, every day is children’s day, and the quality art is also affordable.
The People’s Choice Festival of Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts is a homegrown festival celebrating the work of Pennsylvania artists to showcase the creativity and workmanship of artisans living in Pennsylvania.
July 13-17 Central PA Festival of the Arts
A five day long celebration of the visual and performing arts. Artists and visitors from around the world come to celebrate the arts in Happy Valley.
July 7-10 Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival
One of the fastest growing Bluegrass Festivals in the Country! The 9th annual Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival at the Grange Fair Grounds. 19 bands will be performing throughout the weekend. Food and Craft Vendors are on hand. Workshops will be held by performers. Billy Lee Cox will be preaching at the Sunday Morning Church Service. This is a true family event! Keep in mind the festival is Rain or Shine
July 15-17 Lemont Fest
An art, music, and food festival, "Lemont Fest" in the Granary and on the Lemont Village Green supports local independent makers. Local food and beverage vendors will be located in the Coal Sheds. Musicians will play during the event on the Village Green stage and other artistic activities will also take place on the Green. Speeder rides by the Bellefonte Historic Railroad Society Saturday and Sunday.
July 31 Last Cruise Car & Motorcycle Show
A true “Best of the Best” car show on Allen Street in downtown State College. Families can enjoy strolling amongst remarkable vehicles from times past and enjoy free activities for children as well.
August 12-13 Bellefonte Arts & Crafts Fair
Visit Talleyrand Park in Bellefonte, PA in mid-August and you will find yourself amid a collection of talented artists, craftsmen and musicians and the natural beauty of a
Victorian town. The Annual Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Festival transforms the scenic park into a fun arts and crafts haven for everyone. Enjoy music, arts, crafts and more from talented artists and crafters from near and far.
August 6 State College Brew Expo
The focus is on quality, not quantity; to promote beer appreciation, not alcohol consumption. All ticket holders will receive a souvenir tasting glass for unlimited beer tasting from a variety of brewers. All ticket holders can enjoy four hours of wonderful live music for entertaining pleasure. All tickets also include admission to the educational beer seminars.
August 16-18 PSU Ag Progress Days
Ag Progress Days (APD), Pennsylvania's largest outdoor agricultural exposition. One of only three agricultural exhibitions in the country sponsored by a major University, Ag Progress Days features the latest technology and research exhibits, educational programs, and guided tours.
August 19-27 142nd Centre County Grange Fair
The last encampment fair in the United States, the fair becomes a city of its own at the end of summer. Offering numerous exhibits, top name entertainment, some sale items and some competition exhibits featuring the most talented artists, craftsmen, cooks, and bakers around.
September 1 WingFest Finals
Wings and good music on a ski slope in summer! Every Thursday throughout the summer, the area’s best restaurants bring their favorite wing sauces to duke it out for your votes. The winner of each week moves on to the finals.
