Raise a Glass to a Good Cause, at Liberty Craft House
International Negroni Week is coming up and Liberty Craft House celebrates by donating $1 from every Negroni ordered to the State College Food Bank.
The classic Italian cocktail is one-part gin, one-part vermouth rosso, one-part Campari and all-parts deliciously fun. Liberty Craft House is offering a special Negroni-focused cocktail menu for the week, with unique variations on the iconic concoction. You can enjoy the classic recipe poured straight from the bar’s custom cocktail draft tap system (made with gin from Big Springs Spirits), an American oak barrel-aged version (aged for six weeks), a cold-brewed nitro poured coffee iteration and many more.
While partial proceeds go to the local food bank, the good deeds don’t end there. Liberty is also hosting a food drive and every customer who brings a donation of an un-expired, non-perishable food item will receive a 10 percent discount on their food bill. (The food bank is particularly in need of salad dressing, chunky soups, jelly and laundry detergent.)
With Liberty’s spectacular menu, that discount will come in handy, as you choose from mouth-watering options like charcuterie plates, fresh salads, upscale casseroles, flatbreads and sandwiches. Save room for dessert, particularly the Stout float, for a draft topped with a generous helping of locally-sourced Meyer Dairy ice cream.
Don’t miss Negroni Week! Mark your calendars now to stop in for drinks and a good cause, June 4-10!
