Writers’ Round

Our monthly Writers’ Round showcases multiple writers/artists on stage simultaneously, each playing one song going "AROUND" until 3, 4, or five "rounds" have been completed. They'll present new and sometimes not even fully completed songs. It's an intimate evening that you won't want to miss.

BILL STRAYER is a singer-songwriter from State College. He is heavily influenced by Americana and Roots music.

SOPHIE AUGUSTA RUSNOCK took up the harp as a teenager in Ottawa, Ontario, under the guidance of Juno Award nominee Caroline Léonardelli. She immediately fell in love with the instrument, and her passion would eventually lead her to complete a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.

COCONUT WOLF is a local hip-hop phenomenon that blends old-school flavors with lo-fi and is often compared to the likes of MF DOOM and Sage Francis.

CHRIS WELKER is an acoustic guitarist based in Mill Hall, PA. He plays a wide range of cover songs, drawing on that experience to write music.
