The fourth annual Happy Valley Comic and Collectibles Convention is returning to the Nittany Valley Sports Centre on February 28 and March 1, 2026. This upcoming convention promises to be the biggest one yet!
The convention is completely taking over the Nittany Valley Sports Centre, which means it is doubling in size from 50,000 square feet to 100,000 square feet of fun!
Celebrities include: Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica and Lucifer). Tracee Lee Cocco (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager), Allyson Leigh Rosenfeld (Pokémon and many other Anime shows), Ray Hurd (Dragon Ball Z plus other Anime shows), and Olliver Wyman (Yu-Gi-Oh and other Anime shows).
The convention will have over a dozen different comic book dealers, a dozen comic book artists and creators (including Fabian Nicieza, co-creator of Deadpool), quite a few comic book publishers, as well as book authors, sports card dealers, collectible card dealers, toys, Funko Pops, and a lot more.
Three costume contests will be available, along with panels, Magic: The Gathering Tournaments, and Pokémon card games.
Cosplayers like the Grumpy Ol’ Green Guy, Happy Valley Chewie, Garrison Carida from the 501st Legion, Jedi from the Malachor Temple (the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of Saber Guild International), and Penn State’s own Alliance of Heroic Hearts will be there to have their pictures taken with attendees.
Penn State’s All-Sports Museum will also have a display, plus Ruby the Impala, based on the TV show Supernatural, will be available for pictures.
There will be so much to see and do that attendees will not be bored!
Admission for adults is $20 for Saturday, $15 on Sunday, and $30 for a two-day pass. Online prices are even cheaper: a Saturday ticket is $17.35, a Sunday ticket is $13, and a two-day pass is $26. In addition to the discount, attendees who buy tickets online will receive a free limited-edition collector’s pin. Online sales end February 14, 2026, so there is enough time to get the pins made in time for the convention.
Child admission (5 to 10-year-olds) is $7 online and $8 on Saturday and free on Sunday. Children 5 and under are free both days.
All College students (Penn State or otherwise) are $8 per day, but to receive a collector’s pin, students must buy their tickets online.
Online ticket purchasers have the option of adding an Early Entry Option to their ticket. Those that do so will be allowed to enter the convention 45 minutes early on Saturday and receive the Batman #6 Limited-Edition comic made exclusively for the convention.
