the original mill's history is a beautiful chapter in the story of historic Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. Remodeled and revitalized in 2020 by entrepreneurial brothers Chris and Jon, this space has found new life along the Riverwalk offering elegant 16-room modern suites, a fresh-from-farm restaurant, craft cocktail bar, intimate event space, and local boutique.

Throughout its history, the mill played an important role in the Underground Railroad and was a critical contributor to the local economy for more than 200 years. Today, the rooms at The Inn at Gamble Mill are sophisticated and modern, while celebrating the original architecture of the building. The Republic is the mill’s cocktail bar that serves classic, cultivated drinks; the restaurant, Creekside, is known for its creative dishes that are in tune with the season and made from locally-sourced ingredients.
