Scholar Hotel State College

The recently renovated Scholar Hotel State College is a cozy Downtown home away from home, just two blocks from Penn State campus. 

It’s in the original Glennland Building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places as it was built in 1933. While it has been updated and designed for extended stays, it honors the history of the building. Amenities include a restaurant, bar, fitness center, and marketplace in case you need a snack or forgot to pack your chapstick. The hotel is an easy walk to Penn State’s campus for a lecture, sporting event, arts performance, dining or shopping.
