Homecoming 2018 set for Oct. 13 vs. MSU

UNIVERSITY PARK – Homecoming is set.

Penn State’s 2018 Homecoming game will take place on Saturday, Oct. 13 when Michigan State visits Happy Valley.

The announcement was made on Tuesday.

After playing the Homecoming game in November, the contest returns to October. This past season, the Homecoming game was played on Nov. 11 against Rutgers.

Grand Marshal – John Urschel

Urschel named 2017 Homecoming Grand Marshal

UNIVERSITY PARK – Former Penn State offensive lineman John Urschel will serve as the Homecoming 2017 grand marshal.

The Homecoming Executive Committee announced Friday via social media that Urschel has been tabbed for the honor. Urschel, a 2013 Penn State alumnus, is now a mathematics doctoral student at MIT. According to a Homecoming news release, Urschel is the “embodiment of a true student-athlete with the spirit of a Nittany Lion.

Homecoming Celebration to Include Grad Student Court

UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State Homecoming recently announced a new addition to their 2017 Homecoming celebration. This year Penn State Homecoming will be adding a Graduate Student Court to their Royalty courts. The Royalty courts currently consist of a Student Court, University Court and an Alumni Court. This new venture will be the first addition to the courts since 2015, when the Alumni Court was added to the lineup.

Homecoming 2017 Announced!

Homecoming 2017 officially has a date!

Penn State Homecoming announced Tuesday morning that this year's Homecoming game will take place Saturday, November 11 against Rutgers. Falling on Veterans Day, the game will also double as the 2017 Military Appreciation Game.

Homecoming Week festivities will begin Sunday, November 5 and wrap up on Sunday, November 12.
