Penn State-Michigan start time announced

UNIVERSITY PARK – Finally – it’s official.

No. 3 Penn State’s game with No. 17 Michigan will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on ABC on Saturday, Sept. The Big Ten tilt is Penn State’s Whiteout Game.

Penn State will be looking to avenge its worst defeat of the 2016 season, a 49-10 loss in Ann Arbor. The Nittany Lions and Wolverines have met every season since 2013 in conference games. All time, the Nittany Lions are 7-13 against the Wolverines, including a 4-6 mark at Beaver Stadium.

In the last meeting in Happy Valley, the Wolverines claimed a 28-16 win. However, the most memorable game in the series was a 43-40 four OT Penn State win in 2013. Penn State has won two of the last three home games in the series.

Michigan lost to Michigan State, 14-10, on Saturday in Ann Arbor. Penn State has a bye week after defeating Northwestern, 31-7, on Saturday.

The Oct. 21 game will be available on the Penn State Sports Network and at www.gopsusports.com.
