JoePa Honored at Temple Game on September 17

The September 17 game against Temple is going to be one to remember. JoePa will be honored in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of his first game as the head football coach at Penn State on September 17, 1966.

It's also Stripe Out, THON day, faculty and staff day and community heroes day.

We don't have many details yet (or how they plan to honor the winningest coach in major college football history), but we'll post them as we find out!

Until then, here's one of our very favorite throwback articles where he talks about faith, family, and what he was reading in 1992.
