Penn State baseball hosts final Big Ten home series

UNIVERSITY PARK – If you haven’t seen the Penn State baseball team in action yet this season, time is winding down.

The Nittany Lions have just seven home games remaining at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. There’s a three-game series this weekend with Big Ten rival Michigan State. The weather is expected to be perfect for baseball, so why not get out and check out the Lions? There are some excellent promotions for the three-game set.

Penn State baseball hosts big series with Northwestern

UNIVERSITY PARK – The Penn State baseball team will try to get back on track this weekend when Big Ten foe Northwestern visits Medlar Field at Lubrano Park for a three-game series.

There are some big promotions coming up, so here’s a closer look at the games:


The first game of the three-game series is Sitcom Night. Throughout the game, sitcom sounds and scenes will be inserted into the game. The student giveaway is a tank top and it’s also Dollar Dog Night. First pitch at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Promotions highlight PSU baseball weekend series

UNIVERSITY PARK – As the winter weather breaks – finally – Penn State baseball fans can finally get a chance to see their Nittany Lions at home.

This weekend, the Nittany Lions face Big Ten rival Ohio State at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The weather is supposed to be very spring-like. In fact, temperatures are expected to be in the 70s on Friday and Saturday and in the 60s on Sunday, according to AccuWeather in State College. Needless to say, it will be a perfect weekend for Big Ten baseball.

PSU Football to Appear at Baseball Finale

Penn State baseball will have a fun-filled season finale for fans Saturday, May 20, as members of the Nittany Lion football team will sign autographs pregame and bring the 2016 Big Ten Championship trophy and a championship ring for photo opportunities.
