Arts Festival Best in Show Unveiled

Get a head start on the Arts Festival this week (and all of July!) by viewing Images 2016, which are hanging in the Woskob Family Gallery of the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center and in both the Betsy Rodgers Allen Gallery and Downsbrough Room of the Schlow Centre Region Library during the month of July.

A photograph by Tina Hay of State College, Bhutanese Monk, earned the Best in Show nod. The award is sponsored by the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania. The Art Alliance, founded in 1968, was one of the local institutions that blossomed in the afterglow of our first Festival in 1967.

Many times, festival attendees miss the Images exhibition with so much great stuff going on outside. But this show is worth the look!
