Big Spring

The Stocking of Spring Creek, sponsored by Stocker Chevrolet Subaru, is a highlight of the afternoon, with fish furnished by Elk Creek Hatchery in Millheim.

Talleyrand Park is prime people-watching real estate all summer long; you’re guaranteed to witness at least one engagement photo shoot on any given Saturday and several little ones joyfully feeding stale bread to the ducklings. During the Big Spring Festival, Talleyrand will come to life with even more pep than a typical May weekend.

Come hungry, because vendors will be serving up traditional festival food on site.

If you miss the Big Spring Festival, make sure to schedule a weekend in Bellefonte. No trip to Bellefonte is complete without a tasty farm-to-table meal at Pizza Mia. Come back on June 17-18 for the renowned Bellefonte Cruise, and again on August 12-13 for the 33rd annual Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair, featuring arts, crafts and foods from vendors near and far.
