12 Days of Christmas: State College Spikes tickets

UNIVERSITY PARK – On Monday, our “12 Days of Christmas” feature highlighted the gift of Penn State sports tickets.

If the sports fan on your Christmas shopping list isn’t into the winter sports, there’s always baseball tickets.

Yes, baseball.

Although it is still several months away, it’s not too early to be thinking about giving State College Spikes tickets as a gift for the 2018 season.

There are several packages for fans to choose from for the 2018 season:

Seat membership (full-season) – Purchasing a seat membership gets you tickets to each and every home game and guarantees your seat for the 2018 New York-Penn League All-Star Game, which will be held at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Aug. 14.

Half-season – The half-season package includes select games and also includes the 2018 New York-Penn League All-Star Game.

Family Fireworks Plan (13 games) – Love fireworks? Then this plan is for you. It includes 12 regular season games featuring fireworks nights as well as the 2018 New York-Penn League All-Star Game.

Mug Club Plan (13 games) – The Mug Club Plan is named because many of the game tickets are for nights when there is discounted beers or $1 beer night. By purchasing a Mug Club Plan, fans will also claim their seat for the 2018 New York-Penn League All-Star Game.

Five Game Plan (5 games) – The five-game plan features five of the biggest games of the season (to be determined).

Flex books – If the ticket plans are too much of a commitment, check out a Spikes’ flex book. The flex book features 12 undated ticket vouchers for the price of 10. The price of the books range from $80 to $180, depending on seat location. Purchase a flex book before Dec. 31, and it will include two hot dogs and two soft drinks.
