Penn State solidifies No. 2 spot with impressive win

UNIVERSITY PARK – The Nittany Lions solidified their spot as the No. 2 team in the country on Saturday night.

A convincing 42-13 win over Michigan in front of a raucous record crowd at Beaver Stadium pushed the Lions to 7-0 as their quest for an unbeaten season continues.

The stakes get even higher this week, when they travel to Columbus for a 3:30 p.m. tilt at the Horseshoe. The game will be televised by FOX. Ohio State is a 7-point favorite in the game.

The win over Michigan was impressive, for sure. Penn State jumped out to a 14-0 lead and never looked back in the contest.

The loss dropped twice-beaten Michigan out of the AP Top 25.
