Big names coming to Happy Valley

UNIVERSITY PARK – There are some big names coming to the Bryce Jordan Center.

Two big names – Lana Del Rey and Miranda Lambert – were announced this week. Let’s take a closer look at the concerts on the horizon at the BJC:

Lana Del Rey – Announced earlier this week, Lana Del Rey will hit the BJC stage on Friday, Jan. 26. University Park is one of 24 dates on the “La to the Moon” Tour. Tickets for the show start at $29.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2. The opening act will be Kali Uchis.

Miranda Lambert – It was announced on Thursday that Lambert will bring her “Livin’ Like Hippies” Tour to the BJC on Friday, March 23. The tour will kick off on Jan. 18, 2018 in Greenville, S.C. Lambert is touring to promote her 24-song double album “The Weight of These Wings.” Jon Pardi is the opening act.

Ticket prices start at $39.75 and go on sale Friday, Oct. 6.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer LIVE – The “most famous reindeer of all” takes the stage for the critically-acclaimed “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical.” Watch as all the characters you know and love come to life on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Tickets start at $24.50 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 29.

Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience – The critically-acclaimed “Game of Thrones” Live Concert Experience featuring Ramin Djawadi will be at the BJC in just about a year. The concert will take place on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018. Djawdi is a famed composer and will lead an orchestra and choir performing music from all seven seasons of the Emmy Award-Winning HBO series.
