Wing Fest finals set for tonight

This is it. The Wing Fest Finals are here.

Tonight at Tussey Mountain, Wing Fest winners from the past several weeks will square off in the finals to see who takes home the title of 2017 Wing King. The participants are: Ye Olde Hotel, American Legion Post 245, Edgewater Inn and Riverside Grill, Kelly’s Steak and Seafood, Wilderness Lodge, Bill Pickle’s Tap Room and Main Street Bar of Milroy. The seven finalists are the most Wing Fest has ever seen.

But if wings don’t cut it for you, there are plenty of other options including: Doan’s Bones Barbecue, Packer’s Concessions, Rosie’s Pierogies, kettlecorn, hot dogs and cheesesteaks.

There is a stellar lineup on the Tussey Mountain stage tonight. Ted McCloskey and the Hi-Fis get things rolling at 6 p.m., followed by Hybrid Ice at 8.

If you have not been to Wing Fest, what are you waiting for? It is truly a central Pennsylvania event unlike any other. Bring a chair or blanket and a carrier to transport your wings.

Admission to Wing Fest is $5. Tickets for food and drink can be purchased at the main gate. Parking at Tussey Mountain is free.

This is the last Wing Fest of 2017, so don’t miss it!
