Pints on Park Avenue event set for Aug. 23

As temperatures begin to cool and students head back to campus, everyone is trying to squeeze as much as they can out of the last few weeks of summer.

The Nittany Lion Inn has you covered.

There will be another Pints on Park Avenue dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23. The event will take place on the patio overlooking the golf course. If you missed the July wine dinner, the weather was fantastic … don’t miss this one!

This Pints on Park Avenue event will feature the beers of the Rusty Rail Brewing Company of Mifflinburg. The chefs have another great menu planned that will complement the beers of the night. A team from Rusty Rail will be on hand during the event to describe the beer-making process and share their passion for the craft of brewing.

Cost is $65 and is all-inclusive. Seating is limited. Those interested should call The Dining Room for reservations at (814) 865-8590.

There are a few more events down the road: The Eberle Wine Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 28. Reservations are already being taken. In addition, Tastes of the World: A Wine Dinner Series returns to The Dining Room on Nov. 15 and 16. That event features the wines and food of Burgundy, France.
