It's National Sticky Bun Day: Here's where to get one!

It's National Sticky Bun Day. In Happy Valley, there's no substitute for a Grilled Sticky.
There’s no denying it. The Grilled Sticky has been the most sought out treat by Penn Staters since 1929 and is continually requested by locals and a must taste by tourists stopping through.
Getting its start at the Ye Olde College Diner, the dessert has made its way into the menus of other local restaurants and nearby grocery stores. The sticky sweet glazed pastry is: crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, pull apart, tickle your taste buds delicious. Whether you take it with ice cream or without, ordering this desert on your next State College visit is a must. Here’s where you can find them:
Ye Olde College Diner: Get one where it all started! Even though there is no such thing as a bad sticky, fresh are arguably the best kind. The sticky is cut into strips, buttered and grilled “This simple step of grilling elevates the sticky bun to new heights (Taylor food blogger).”
Corner Room: Served at all hours of operation, settle into one of the cozy booths and order one as a breakfast meal or late night desert.
Wegmans and Giant: Don’t have time to eat a sit down meal? Get your stickies on the road at a nearby Wegmans or Giant grocery store. If you’re looking to take a piece of State College home with you, picking up a box of these is well worth it.
State College Spikes: As unbelievable as it may seem, grilled stickies are available at the State College Spikes’ home games. Just go to “Sweet” and place your order. You can get the grilled sticky topped with Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream. Once the Spikes' season begins in June, you can get one at the ballgame!
Online: Of course nothing beats fresh grilled stickies, but in a pinch you can order them here:
