Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair has something for everyone

BELLEFONTE — It’s that time of year.

The Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair is here once again.

The 34th annual event will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12

If you’ve never been to the Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair, what are you waiting for? There truly is something for everyone, from jewelry to posters to mobiles. And if arts and crafts aren’t your thing, well, there’s always food. A variety of food vendors will be on hand for those wanting to get a quick bite to eat before strolling through Talleyrand Park.

Some of the food vendors scheduled to be at the fair are: Miller’s Tropical Sno, Nutty Bavarian, Scott’s Roasting, Jerry Snyder Concessions, Brother’s Pizza, Scott’s Roasting, Brazilian Munchies, David King’s Funnel Cakes, M&S Concessions, Bob’s Concessions, Sherlock’s Pitt Beef, ‘Lil Doug’s Kettle Korn, Cogan’s Concessions, Rick Snyder Concessions, Kendra Snyder Concessions and Preston Snyder Concessions.

The fair is made possible by Historic Bellefonte Inc., The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and the Central Pennsylvania Convention and Visitors Bureau. There are a plethora of sponsors who help make the fair possible.

It is an inexpensive way to spend the day. Admission is free, as is parking. There are free children’s activities, free entertainment and a free shuttle, if you don’t want to park and walk. Shuttles run from Bellefonte Area High School to Talleyrand Park throughout the day.
