J. Cole and Young Thug are coming to University Park

On Sept. 28, J. Cole and Young Thug will be performing in University Park. Fresh off his album release, ‘KOD’, J. Cole is set to go on a 34-show tour. Cole has seen his albums on the Billboard 200 chart five times in a row, and has a few platinum albums.

Young Thug recently put out ‘Hear No Evil’, a three-song EP featuring Nicki Minaj and Lil Uzi Vert. Although the Atlanta rapper hasn’t put out a solo album in almost a year, he has still been on the rap scene, featuring on many songs since his last album release.

The pairing of Cole and Thug is particularly ironic, given their differences in rapping styles. Cole has always relied heavily on his lyrical ability, while Thug is the epitome of mumble rap. The duo will definitely catch a lot of eyes, as they set to go on tour on August 9.
