Five Things You Should Do While You Are Here For The Iowa Game

Penn State plays against Iowa for one of our very last home game weekends of the season. Here's how to make the most of it.

First Friday

5-9 p.m.

It's Military Appreciation Night, and there will be several patriotic themed performances in the downtown, as well as an art piece honoring the brave men and women that serve our country. In addition, many downtown businesses will be donating a portion of their day's sales to the Penn State Military Student Scholarship Fund, and many of the same businesses will also be collecting donations for Operation Shoebox. Take in the variety of activities including letter writing parties to military personnel at the Nittany Quill, a cookie workshop at the Makery, all while taking in dance and music. Keep your eye out for the Vamos! Lion Chariot... rides are free tonight!
