Hublersburg Inn is mixing up good cheer this season
Tis the season … to slow down and do a little bit of self care. In the midst of shopping, holiday parties and end of the year deadlines, make sure to take some time to unwind and enjoy this holiday season. And what better way to unwind than by tasting your way through Hublersburg Inn's special holiday menu?
This rustic, cosy inn is home to chef Cody Pierce (you can read more about him here), who uses his French training and love of local foods to turn out some of the best seasonal menus you'll find anywhere. In the spring and summers, this means a bounty of Amish produce and fresh baked goods turning up in dishes like Asian Ahi Tuna Salad, Fresh Chopped Salad and vegetarian Summer Vegetable Tacos.
This winter, the menu turns to cold weather comfort fare, with starters like baked camembert and french onion soup, or entrees like braised lamb shank in a red wine gravy. You can enjoy holiday cocktails like a bourbon brulee, pomegranate mule or gingerbread martini or one of their seasonal drafts along with your meal.
They also feature brunch from 10-2 every Saturday and Sunday with five different types of eggs benedict, including smoked salmon, fried chicken, crispy pork belly and crab cake, along with traditional breakfast entrees like homemade waffles, pancakes, omelettes, French toast and a Hubie Breakfast.
