Get your first look at the 2023 Nittany Lions with Blue & White Weekend at Penn State! Coach James Franklin and the Penn State football team will take the field for the Blue-White game on Saturday, April 15. Additional events are offered throughout the weekend, making for a memorable time for the whole family. The Penn State Football Blue-White game is a free admission event at Beaver Stadium.
The Blue-White Boardwalk is back! The official Penn State football game day fan carnival includes FREE rides, such as a ferris wheel, giant slide, tilt-a-whirl and more! Fans can also enjoy live music, face painting, balloon artistry, photo booths and caricature drawings all for FREE. The Blue-White Boardwalk opens to the public at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 14 and will run until 9 p.m. and reopens at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 15 and runs until 7 p.m. The Boardwalk will be located in the Jordan East Parking Lot (Football Parking Lot 41) across from Beaver Stadium. Carnival games will only accept cash; food vendors accept both cash and credit card. Fans will also have a chance to pick up a copy of the 2023 Football Spring Schedule Poster, which will be handed out at the marketing table on the Blue-White Boardwalk, while supplies last.
There are also several other Penn State sports to attend throughout the weekend. Additionally, the Penn State All-Sports Museum in Beaver Stadium will be open April 14 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., and April 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parking for the Blue-White game on Saturday will be free to Penn State Football season ticket holders, while all other vehicles will be charged $20. Parking for the Blue-White Boardwalk on Friday evening will be FREE in the Jordan East, Stadium West and Porter North parking lots.
Make sure that you save some energy because Sunday is the annual Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run benefitting the Special Olympics Pennsylvania chapter. Participants will be able to finish their walk or run at the 50 yard line of Beaver Stadium.
