You couldn’t be faulted for missing it. The modest three-story, cream white house looks virtually identical to when it was built more than 100 years ago. Nestled on a block of student rentals at 119 North Barnard Street, Lincoln Hall stands as a paramount monument to the Penn State Spirit, but also one of its least appreciated.

Penn State hockey is back in action

With some disappointing results in football these last few weeks ardent PSU fans might feel empty handed. But do no fret! Hockey is also in season. So get fired up and attend some of the upcoming home games!

The men’s hockey team has had an impressive season so far with six wins over Brock, Clarkson, Niagara, Princeton and Arizona State University. The one loss was to Arizona State in a close and exciting rematch that saw the Lions lose 3-4 in overtime. Currently the team is ranked eighth in the nation.

Anticipation for THON game as season nears end

The Nittany Lions are 6-3. While a season filled with playoff aspirations has been all but lost, there is still much to play for. Penn State is still lobbying for a prestigious bowl game and some of the young and talented Lions could see more playing time as the 2018 season comes to an end.

Coming off Penn State’s first double-digit loss since 2016, coach James Franklin simply said, “We did not play well. We have to take responsibility for that.”

The final score last week was 42-7 but with less than a minute remaining in the third quarter, Michigan was only leading 14-0.
