The ultimate location guide for an alumni photoshoot

It's impossible to be grumpy while checking out Penn State's archive of commencement pictures. Completely impossible. They are full up with hope, the exultant “I did it!,” family and friends, presidents and babies – all gathered together to celebrate the hard work and achievement it takes to get from student to Penn State alumni.

This weekend is another graduation. Make sure to add these photos of the momentous day!

The Shrine

Because, you have to take one at the Shrine. Granted, it's going to be a pretty crowded place over the weekend, but you owe it to yourself and your future memories to snag a photo in your cap and gown with the Lion in all its cool, limestone glory.

The WeAre sculpture

This gift from the 2013 class embodies the spirit of Penn State, and is a perfect photo op for your big day. (You can find more about the history of the sculpture here)

The Penn State Landmark Sign outside the stadium

You pass this gift from the class of 1992 every time you are on Park Ave. Add it to your commencement day album. While you're on way out to Park Ave., check out some of the other best senior gifts in Penn State history and pick a few to photo bomb!

Main Building

What Penn State photoshoot would be complete without a shot of your graduate in front of the historic main building?

More time?

If you have a little bit more time (and Dad has the patience) before you head out for dinner, grab a photo in front of your graduating college/major's building.
