2016 Blue-White Game

The 2016 Penn State Blue & White game will kick-off on Saturday April 16, 2016 at Beaver Stadium. TBD. The game remains free and open to the public-students, alumni, family and friends as well as everyone in-between. Blue & White weekend festivities will run the gamut: Friday night carnival, fireworks, numerous bands, myriad family activities and a pre-game autograph session on the morning of the game.

Kick-off your Blue-White weekend with a delicious red and savor the tranquility of the luscious green valley and surrounding mountains during Campfire Fridays at Seven Mountains Wine Cellars with live music from 6-9 p.m. Just bring your own food and chairs and share a bottle with friends at the tasting table.   

Beaver Stadium parking lots open at 8 a.m., for the coolest tailgating to commence. Shoot over to Pegula Ice Arena at around 9 a.m., for Penn State equipment and apparel or visit the Penn State bookstore on 1 Pollock Avenue, for all of your replica football jersey or Penn State tee-shirt.

Grab a mouthwatering meal at Rotelli’s for lunch, in downtown State College. If you prefer the warm and inviting environs of a friendly and energetic watering hole-with food-head no further than. Always a good stop for a hearty meal is Kelly’s Steak & Seafood at 316 Boal Avenue in Boalsburg, Pa., where you can indulge in Dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood, plus cocktails, craft beer & wine served in a relaxed ambiance         

After you’ve purchased your Penn State tee-shirt head over to Holuba Hall from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and enjoy a myriad of fun-filled activities at the Blue-White Family Fun Zone or enjoy the goings-on at Totino’s Fan Festival, on Curtin Road, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Players autograph session will take place from 1:15-2 p.m. All Beaver Stadium gates open at 2:30  p.m.     

Coach James Franklin, Penn State’s 16th. head coach saw a then record crowd of 72,000 in 2014. The 2015 game saw a “third best in nation” with 68,000, trailing only Ohio State and Nebraska. The 2016 Blue-White game promises to surpass the previous to years in both game day attendance and splendor. Be a part of history.
