Super Bowl Hotspots: Where to Watch and Eat
It's once again time to make your Super Bowl Sunday plans, with Super Bowl LI right around the corner on February 5.
Since the Steelers fell short of the big game, you probably won't have as many parties to choose from as you were hoping for, and hosting your own is a lot of work. That's why we suggest watching the game at one of these great spots—just as much fun without any of the effort!

Primanti Bros. has everything you could want on game day. Their walls of TVs make for a great view of the big game. Grab one of their legendary sandwiches or burgers. Not your thing? They also have a wide variety of pizza, salads, wings, and killer appetizers.
1031 E. College Avenue
Lettermans is your one-stop destination for Super Bowl fun. A joint that's dedicated to sports—where else would you want to be? Their famous BBQ ribs fall right off the bone. Pair that with a draft and you can’t go wrong! They also have a new menu launching on January 25th. Check it out!
Champs Sports Bar & Grill
1611 N. Atherton Street and 139 S Allen St
This State College classic is obviously the perfect Super Bowl spot. As one of the most well-known sports bars in town, Champs has an awesome selection of food and beverages—plus two different locations to choose from! We suggest a signature burger, some wings, and one of their 45 flavors of beer.
Bill Pickle’s Tap Room
106 South Allen Street
If a fun atmosphere is your top priority for Super Bowl Sunday, Bill Pickle's Tap Room is the right place. Game day just wouldn’t be the same without an order of their classic fried pickles. Also, try their peanut butter wings (trust us).
107 E. Beaver Avenue
Local Whiskey is another great place to watch the game. They’ve got plenty of TVs for the perfect game day atmosphere, plus an incredible selection of one-of-a-kind, delicious cocktails (ever tried a Reuben cocktail? Probably not, but you can here!) Grab a plate of their fresh cut fries or their famous cheesesteak eggrolls!
